Biography
Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Hannah Langhamn is a painter whose practice revolves around the subtle play of atmosphere, light, and abstraction. Educated at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, she developed a refined sensitivity to tone and surface, allowing her to create works that feel both minimal and emotionally expansive.
Langhamn’s paintings often balance delicate washes of muted color with strong, gestural marks, producing compositions that suggest landscapes, weather, or fleeting moments without ever fully revealing them. Her work invites the viewer into a meditative space, where interpretation is personal and open-ended.
Exhibited in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Vienna, Langhamn’s art appeals to collectors who value contemporary abstraction with a poetic, Nordic sensibility. She is currently based in Malmö, where she continues to explore how painting can capture the ungraspable essence of atmosphere.
